First off – LOVE your blog. Delightful. Lovely. Captivating (I am currently working my way through all your pasts posts).

Upon reading this list, I thought you might like a blog I’ve followed for years that is written by another city gal turned farmer – much like yourself and Pioneer Woman – http://www.farmgirlfare.com/ (although she actively pursued farming as opposed to marrying into this lifestyle that fascinates us city readers so!)

Thank you for sharing your world with us!

How fantastic, I’m constantly looking for new Irish blogs and am delighted to have found your list here, as well as your own lovely blog. I can’t believe I’ve only come across you today as I’ve spent quite some time looking around in the past! This is a lovely space with some wonderful recipes, I think I’ll be giving the boxty one a try prety soon :)

Hi there. I had written you earlier about wanting to move back to Ireland. I’m slowly reading all of your Monthly blogs. Loved the one about the clothing. When I lived there I couldn’t find a darn thing I liked! Long skirts. High cut tops. Leggings. Everything so NOT me!! Definitely missed the same stores you missed! I went to a wedding over there and could not for the life of me find something so I had my grandmom send me over a dress I had in my closet from White House Black Market! Anyway, would love to chat with you. Would love for you to check out my Facebook page. I delivered twin heifer calves while over there, sprangin silage in the pit, scrapin shite, herding, driving tractors, chainsawing timber, chopping wood, etc. I was in the Mountrath Cattle Mart every Thursday night. (Co. Laois) Loved it. Miss it. Definitely left my heart there. Hope to hear from you. I totally wanted to do this blog thing when I was there but I became so busy and it just became my way of life I never got around to it. I was too busy raring turf in the evenings at the bog!!
    Alyse
